Rick Van Nostrand

Mr. Van Nostrand serves as a Senior Portfolio Manager, Board Member and Partner at Cornerstone Investment Partners, where he focuses on using a value discipline to identify mispriced equities.
Mr. Van Nostrand came aboard Cornerstone over 15 years ago and helped build the company from a small high net worth boutique to a $9B AUM investment management firm serving clients throughout the world.
Before Cornerstone, Mr. Van Nostrand was at Earnest Partners building the small cap equity strategies and at Invesco Capital Management. Mr. Van Nostrand came to the investment management business from McKinsey and Company, where he consulted companies across industries in strategy formulation and Accenture where he helped management teams restructure their operations using technological innovation.
Mr. Van Nostrand has a BS in Computer Science Engineering from Southern Methodist University and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Van Nostrand is a member and former board member of the Atlanta Society of Financial and Investment Professionals and a member of the New York Society of Chartered Financial Analysts.
